We have two swimming pools - one in Swan Leisure @ Rathmines and one in Swan Leisure @ Crumlin. In Rathmines we have a 25m swimming pool with 6 lanes and a moveable wall and floor so that we can change the depth of the floor to make it suitable for the specific activity taking place. Crumlin has a 25 meters, 5 lane swimming pool starting at 0.9m and extending to 1.8m. The water temperature is 29.2 Celsius on average.
The pool water is filtrated through sand filters on an ongoing basis, the filters are backwashed multiple times on a weekly basis. Nightly, a pool hoover is added to clean the floors and walls of the pool. Fresh water is added continually and is heated prior to entering the pool. Rathmines is also equipped with a UV filter, which allows a lesser amount of chlorine to be used to ensure water cleanliness. Disinfection levels are monitored on an ongoing basis by an automated system and additionally by lifeguards.
Yes, pre swim showers are advised for all. Pre-showering aids in less chemicals being required to ensure adequate disinfection levels. This aids in the water feeling fresher.
Not only will we customise a gym program to get you set for your triathlon but we have spinning classes and swim training in the pool that will cover all the areas you need to focus on for your event.
No problem at all - this is one of the most common requests we get and we are more than happy to guide you through a weight loss progam - not only will we help you drop a dress size but we will help you tone your body as well so your body will look healthy and fit!
Yes we can - if you haven't enjoyed going to the gym before that's no problem. Pop in for a free consultation and we would be happy to choose exercises and classes that will help you enjoy an exercise plan.
