Get Swimming
At Swan Leisure swimming is our passion. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding lessons and offering a full and complete aquatics program.
Our swimming pool is a 25m pool, 6 lane deck level with moveable floor and boom wall. We also have a sauna and steam room on pool bank.
Our pool is currently open for members only with non members welcome to drop in for public swims as per timetable.
What makes us different? We have our own unique swim program that has been developed by some of the most experienced and talented coaches in Ireland. All of our instructors have been handpicked to ensure that we provide the most up to date and best practice teaching solutions for you including our Swim Pro two time Olympian Kevin Williamson. We have a maximum of ten people per class so you can rest assured that you will get the attention you deserve. Parents can also log into our Parent Portal to keep up to date with your child's progress.
Our adult lessons run continuously throughout the year with classes for every level from complete beginners to improvers to advanced. Lessons can be paid for by monthly direct debit at €42 per month or in blocks of 10 at €105 for 10 lessons. If you choose to pay via direct debit payments will run continuously until you let us know in writing that you wish to finish.
Classes take place on a Monday and Wednesday morning at 9.45am and Monday and Wednesday evenings at 8.45pm.
Our children's lessons run throughout the year in both Rathmines and Crumlin. They can be paid for monthly by direct debit at €38 per month or in blocks of ten for €100. Direct debits run every month. If you would like to finish swimming lessons, written cancellation is required. We provide a selection of days and times for you to choose from. We have classes on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoon and Saturday mornings. Each time slot has 7 levels for your child to be assessed and placed in:
Ducklings: This is our beginner level where children will learn water confidence, how to float, submerge their face and to jump in. The minimum age for this level is 3 years.
Tadpoles: This is a step up from beginners where children will learn how to push and glide on their front and back, retrieve objects from below the surface and breaststroke arms.
Frogs: At this level children learn front crawl arm action unaided, backcrawl and breast stroke leg action.
Penguins: Now confident and independent in shallow water they can improve technique and advance their skills.
Seals: Further development with technique and learning more skills.
Sharks: Confident in deep water and beginning to build stamina and strength along with technique. Continuous development of skills and strokes; more stamina, strength and skills.
We also run a very popular Swan Babies and Swan Toddlers program. These are fun classes with the instructor and a parent in the water aimed at introducing babies and young children to swimming. Classes are on every day during the week and we have limited spaces in Swan Toddlers on a Saturday. They run over a 10 week term at €100.
We are running children's 'intensive swim lessons' throughout the school holidays - Summer, Halloween and Easter. Intensive Swim Lessons are an excellent way for children to progress their learning in a short amount of time. They cost €55 per week for a daily 45 minute lesson. There are two options for lessons - from 9am-9.45am or 1pm-1.45pm.
For information on children's lessons or a full set of terms and conditions please email corrineswanleisure@gmail.com

Our competitive swim club is suitable for those new to competitive swimming all the way through to national athletes. We offer both competitive and social swimming streams. For further information check out our Swim Club Website by clicking the link below.
Our open water team competes predominantly in the Leinster Open Sea Swimming series which includes the prestigious Dun Laoghaire Harbour Race, The Island Swim (from Island's Eye to Howth) and The Liffey Swim.
Our team is very welcoming to new swimmers. We have a strong sense of community and inclusivity and supporting each other is expected within our team. Although we are competing in several races per week we encourage all swimmers within the team to see the season out however suits them, by way of participation or aiming to win races and completing as many races as they would like.
Our team has been building over the last few years. Our open water coach Sophie is always on hand to offer advice and has helped many swimmers compete in other events such as Killary swims, and marathon swims abroad.
There have been countless top 10 performances throughout the seasons and lots of prizes but every race completion is a success in itself whether someone is placed 3rd or 133rd. Our swimmers have pushed themselves to continue to compete and be out of their comfort zone in the elements, battling waves, tide and marine life.

Here at Swan Leisure we can change the depth of the floor to suit any activity we would like to hold. So when you bring younger children we can have one section of the pool at a shallow depth for their confidence and independence.
You can avail of our family swims every Saturday afternoon and our family fun days every Sunday all day. Throughout our timetable you will also find adult and toddler swims allowing a time for parents and young children and on Sundays we have small toys in the pool all day suitable for younger children.
We also have family changing rooms with baby changing mats and nappy bins to make bringing the whole family swimming that bit easier. The water temperature is 30 degrees which is perfect for young children.
As part of our 'getting the community active' ethos people who are over 65 years of age are welcome to use both our pool and gym any day of the week or time of day. All we require is an annual €20 registration fee and on your first visit some form of proof of age and address to show that you are living or working in the area.
Please note that in the interest of safety children ten and under need an adult in the water and EACH child under three years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
We are open for non members to drop in during Public Swims as per timetable. Numbers in the pool will be restricted and entry on a first come, first served basis.
