Teen Gym |
Teen Gym sessions take place in the gym during which time those aged between 13-15 years can use our cardio facilities under the safe guidance of our gym team. Stricktly Mon-Thur 4-6pm, Friday 3-5pm and Sat & Sun 3-5pm. |
Cross-Style Training |
Cross-style is a strength development class which promotes lean muscle growth, alternating exercises in an antagonist manner, training two or more opposite muscles at the same time. Cross-style training can be modified by training specific muscle groups or with body type. This class is ideal for those who are looking to tone up whilst challenging your body and mind. |
Fit4Life |
This class is suitable for older adults who would like to develop flexibility and maintain muscle mass and bone density then enjoy a free cuppa in our cafe. |
Bars & Bells |

Aqua |
Tone and sculpt your body with no impact to your joints. This popular water aerobics workout is a swimming blend of cardio and resistance training, and may incorporate resistance tools such as buoyant water weights and noodles. |

Use of resistance to maximize time under tension. Squeeze is an Excellent class for building strength, flexibility and mobility. Mainly focusing on the lower body whilst also improving posture and core strength. Remember to bring your own resistance bands to the class! Our intense Bootcamp class consists of bursts of intense activity alternated with intervals of lighter activity. The class also can include functional fitness, such as using whole-body, multijoint exercises that simulate movements people do in life. This class is perfect for someone who loves a challenge and looking to burn a high amount of calories in just 45 minutes The class will combine some familiar Pilates movements incorporating the barre and also some ballet barre work with a core fitness element to burn those calories. There will be a combination of challenging toning movements with lots of flexibility work to help you build strong lean muscles. No experience is necessary, as our instructor will show you everything you need to get the most from the class. You can wear exactly what you would to a regular Reformer Pilates class and as always bare feet or socks…your call. |
Spinning
We love to Spin at Swan Leisure and with three different types of classes to choose from you will too! All of our spinning classes take place in our custom built spin studio The Loft on the third floor. Our classes combine award winning ICG spin bikes with advanced digital technology to create fun and immersive spin classes. Your workouts will be unlike anything you have experienced - amazing fitness results in less time. In every class, participants ride for, with or against each other to meet group targets, win team battels and achieve personal bests.

Our bikes use 'Coach By Colour' technology based on scientific evidence and elite cycling programming taking the guesswork out of your workouts. If the thought of a spin class makes you roll your eyes, you have not experienced the right kind of spin class! Coach by Colour technology enhances your indoor cycling experience by using 5 coloured training zones ensuring you are training at the right intensity specifically FOR YOU in every workout - meaning you will achieve the results you want faster. You no longer have to worry if you are woking hard enough or too hard, if you should up the resistance - all you now need to do is try to match the colour on your bike to the colour our instructor tells you - simple although not always easy!

- FTP Test - determine your personal FTP - functional threshold power. This number will help to enchance your Coachbycolour sessions.
How can I attend a class at Swan Leisure?
We have a timetable with over 75 classes per week. Classes run throughout the day, catering for all levels and activity types. If you are a member with us, all of our group fitness classes are free. To book, simply log into your account anytime on the day of the class to book your spot. You can log into your account via the Swan Leisure app or by clicking the link at the top of this page. We only take bookings on the day of the class to ensure the class is not booked out in advance only for people to cancel when the day comes. The cut off time for cancelling a class is 2 hours before the class starts, this is to ensure we give enough time for other people to book. Please note that a missed class will automatically generate a charge of €7.50 on your account. We have so many classes to chose from you will definitely find both a space and a class that suits you.
If you are not a member you are more than welcome to drop in to any of our classes at €7.50 per class. Online booking is exclusive for members however you can book by dropping in anytime on the day of the class and booking at reception. Drop ins are subject to availability but most of times if you arrive about 10 minutes before the class starts you will get a place.
Tri Coaching and Master Swim Training
Masters sessions and Tri Coaching take place in our 25m swimming pool and offer adult swimmers a coached session to improve fitness or prepare for a triathlon. Our coaches provide a set for you whcih will help you increase your swimming fitness in a group environment. We have a slow, medium and fast lane to cater for all levels of fitness. If you are unsure if you would be at the correct level simply ask any of lifeguards when you are next swimming and they would be happy to advise you. Both members and guests are welcome to attend any of our regular sessions:
- Monday morning at 7.15am
- Tuesday evening at 8.30pm
- Thursday evening at 8.30pm
- Friday morning at 7.15am
We also run an advanced masters session on a Wednesday morning at 6am with our Swim Pro Kevin Williamson. This is suitable for swimmers who are already fit and experienced swimmers - email Paul@swanleisure.ie for further information.
